In 2015 I had the privilege of spending two semesters at HAW College in Hamburg, Germany, as part of my four year Visual Communication degree. The School is known for it's illustration, graphic design and fashion departments. One course that stood out especially for me was an Abstract Collage course with Franziska Huber. The task was to work with an existing magazine, and simply to make it as abstract as possible. Every class for 8-9 lessons we were suppose to make the magazine as much more abstract, with out any form only shapes and fields of color. After working on the newly created abstract magazine we went on to the computer library to A3 scanners and started glitching the magazine.
